🧪 QA Tester [Remote - Europe]

At Savvy, we’re building the next generation of interactive live entertainment, an ultra-low-latency platform where millions of users compete in real-time game shows against a live host and other users.

We’re looking for a QA Tester who thrives on finding edge cases, breaking systems, and ensuring every release is rock-solid. You’ll help guarantee that our mobile games and real-time backend services perform flawlessly for millions of players.

What you’ll do

• Perform regular feature, regression and ad hoc tests to uncover issues in new and existing game builds.
  
  

• Document and report defects with precision, clear steps to reproduce, environment details, and severity levels.
  
  

• Create and maintain (manual and automated) test cases and structured test documentation to ensure maximum coverage and consistency.
  
  

• Verify backend and API performance, focusing on latency, synchronization, and data integrity between client and game server.
  
  

• Collaborate closely with developers to validate fixes, align on expected outcomes, and maintain quality throughout the release cycle.
  
  

• Act as the player’s advocate by communicating issues clearly, identifying gameplay-impacting bugs, and ensuring every release feels smooth and polished.
  
  

Who you are

You’re a detail-oriented and curious tester who understands both the technical and experiential sides of mobile gaming. You don’t just find bugs, you uncover patterns, anticipate edge cases, and help the team ship confidently.

Requirements

Must-haves

• 3+ years of experience testing mobile games on iOS and Android.
  
  

• Strong understanding of manual testing workflows (functional, regression, and exploratory).
  
  

• Experience testing real-time or API-driven systems, ideally using tools like Postman.
  
  

• Proven ability to document and troubleshoot issues effectively, including logs and environment context.
  
  

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  
  

Nice to have

• Experience creating or maintaining automated test scripts/suites.
  
  

• Passion for gaming and a strong sense of user empathy.
